Customs Union Planted
The seed of a South American customs union was planted last week. Argentina and Brazil signed a trade treaty by which each admits duty-free the products of any new industries established by the other. If this process goes on it will someday bring South America the advantages which the U.S. has in free trade between the 48 States.
