Remember the former wrestler who fought Muhammad Ali to a "standoff" in a farcical wrestling-boxing match? The enterprising Inoki won a seat in Japan's parliament representing the Sports and Peace Party, and last week flew to Iraq in a bid to negotiate the release of hostages.
