Encouraged by their success protesting the World Trade Organization in Seattle late last year, activists are prepping for several upcoming events:

--Bio 2000: The Biotechnology Industry Organization convention, March 26-30, Boston. Groups involved: Northeast Resistance Against Genetic Engineering, People's Earth Network

--World Bank and International Monetary Fund meeting, April 16-17, Washington. Groups involved: Friends of the Earth, Global Exchange

--World Petroleum Congress meeting, June 11-14, Calgary. Groups involved: Ruckus Society, pictured above; Rainforest Action Network
